Paris: 14-year-old boy sexually assaulted in 17th arrondissement park, Algerian migrant under temporary residence order arrested
A 14-year-old boy was sexually assaulted in Martin Luther King Park, in the Batignolles district of Paris's 17th arrondissement, this Friday, July 4, at around 6:00 p.m., according to our information. "The teenager was approached by a man who offered him a sexual act before touching his buttocks and exposing his genitals," a police source told Valeurs actuelles.
Armed with the suspect's description, local police quickly arrested him. The Algerian, born in 1998, is in custody and is in an irregular situation and under an obligation to leave French territory (OQTF), according to several police sources. The victim, originally from the 15th arrondissement and uninjured, went to the police station with his legal guardian to file a complaint. The investigation has been entrusted to the 8th arrondissement police.
