Germany back to 1945, split in half by the vote: the map that shocks Europe

From Ostpolitik to Ostalgia, and now the discovery that East Germany has a problem this big. Right in the area of the brothers once separated by the Iron Curtain, those for whom laws had been passed to favor immigration and reception (from which other “forgetful” ones derive), for whom the rich Länder of the West had made sacrifices (and in part had shouldered them on Europe) to transform with reunification the waste paper of the Eastern mark into heavy federal marks. And what is the temple of communist orthodoxy up to now, the faithful guardian of Moscow, the country where half the population spied on the other? It has changed direction and the ex-post-communists have voted for the far right.
A real "Goodbye Lenin" that, after the Berlin Wall, also blew up every mental and political construction on the direction to give to democratic Germans, not because of the abusive dogma of popular democracies but because of the schemes of political correctness.
Berlin, once again the political capital, finds itself geographically in the middle of the wave unleashed by Alternative für Deutschland, not exactly a party of seminarians on a field trip, but one that slams ideas on problems on the table and sometimes bangs its fists on that table, albeit with the feminine delicacy of Alice Weidel. She is the first enigma of the European Sphinx, which observes her as an exponent of a movement that looks with interest at the National Socialist German Workers' Party of the Braunau house painter of the last century. The Germans, who are notoriously not an example of mental elasticity, wonder what the hell these neo-Nazis are whose leader is a lesbian who married a foreign and very un-völkisch woman. The mystery of the most deeply rooted communism in Europe was not enough, exemplified by the obsessive GDR of comrade Erich Honecker who in 1979 kissed Leonid Brezhnev on the mouth, but without any emotional bond other than ideological consonance, however subordinate.
Where communism had been transplanted on the ashes of Nazism and had taken root, transforming a State into a gray prison, the wind of freedom has brought seeds of nostalgia that according to some was pre-1989 (Ostalgia, precisely), and instead the feared electoral round now claims to be pre-1945. The vote map has in fact split Germany in two and unpacked before analysts that another wind is blowing strongly in the East, which now they intend to contain in every way before it spreads in the already sickly organism of the EU.
Winston Churchill said that democracy is the worst form of government, except for all the others, and the Germans should remember that, who with Weimar gave themselves a model constitution, and yet in 1933 they handed over power to Adolf Hitler through elections. Then what was supposed to happen happened, because it was anticipated in 1923 with Mein Kampf. The disaster of 1945 handed over a piece of Germany to Poland to compensate it according to Stalin's wishes for the territories he himself had annexed, also erasing Prussia, and another large piece to the USSR that had occupied it in the race in competition with the Allies towards Berlin.
The most faithful satellite of the Soviet empire was renamed DDR, the Gestapo became Stasi, the traditional helmets of the Third Reich M 1935 were softened in the shape inspired by the Soviet ones (ridiculing them), bad uniforms remained the same, deprived only of the Nazi eagle and the swastika. From one oppressive system to another, with the hope of an escape for those who could and those who succeeded at the risk of their lives. Propaganda supported against all logic that in Berlin the wall and the defense works served to prevent the mass arrival of Westerners towards the socialist Paradise, when in fact the direction clearly indicated against whom they were built. Today, the barriers are made in the party secretariats and with coalition alchemy. Not everyone has really said “goodbye” to Lenin, but no one intends to give the “Wilkommen” to Adolf.
