Gaia Eco Rally is being discussed at the tenth round

Eduardo Carpinteiro Albino and José Carlos Figueiredo, in a Kia EV4, finished the first day of the Gaia Eco Rally in the lead. As has been the norm in this championship, competitiveness is high. This was demonstrated by the many changes of position throughout the day, including in the top places. At the end of the first qualifying stages, in the regularity category, the first two drivers finished less than two seconds apart. And the second and third, respectively the duo Carlos Silva/Sancho Ramalho (BMW i3), current national champions in the category, and Emilien Le Borgne/Alexandre Stricher (Dacia Spring) have exactly the same score.

Tomorrow the race will start again from Cais de Gaia at 9:00 am. The second and final day of the race will feature five qualifying stages and a Power Stage at the recently renovated Eurocircuito de Lousada, starting at 12:00 pm.

Exame Informática is following this event from the inside, as part of the PRIO – Exame Informática – PEUGEOT team. This team is made up of two pairs: João Paulo Martinho/Nuno Costa in a Peugeot e-208, who finished the day in seventh place, and Sérgio Magno/Ana Joaquim, in a Peugeot e-3008, in 11th place.
