Seriously injured in motorcycle accident
According to the commander of the Vila Pouca de Aguiar fire department, Hugo Silva, “the INEM helicopter from Macedo de Cavaleiros was activated, but it was not used, and the man suffered serious injuries and was transported by the fire department to the Vila Real hospital.”
The alert was raised at 4:23 p.m., and 14 personnel were mobilized to the scene, supported by four vehicles, including firefighters from Vila Pouca de Aguiar. The INEM air force was also activated, but was subsequently demobilized.
The GNR was on site and is investigating the causes of the accident.
