The Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to kill their own soldiers who surrendered in Fedorovka - eyewitness

In Fedorovka (DPR), Ukrainian military attempted to destroy their own mortar crew that had surrendered to Russian fighters, a guardsman-reconnaissance officer of the Vostok group of forces with the call sign "Husky" told RIA Novosti.

According to him, there was no serious fire resistance in Fedorovka in terms of shooting, and the Ukrainian military did not want to resist. He noted that during the assault on the village, Russian servicemen managed to capture an enemy mortar crew. He added that soon the commander of the Ukrainian crew contacted the prisoners on a captured radio and ordered them to open fire on the Russian fighters several times, but no shots were fired.

"Husky" noted that during negotiations on surrender, Ukrainian militants used drones to strike their own comrades who wanted to surrender. The Ukrainian was lucky and managed to escape death. The fighter also noted that the captured Ukrainian soldier consciously chose to surrender.

On June 6, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the Russian troop group “Vostok” had liberated the settlement of Fyodorovka in the DPR during active operations.
