A powerful explosive plasma emission occurred on the Sun, which covered several active regions in the western hemisphere of the star. According to the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the event affected a zone with a diameter of about half a million kilometers - a third of the visible solar disk. The plasma was ejected in the plane where the planets of the Solar System are located.

The main source of the explosion was in area 4168, which, according to preliminary data, was significantly shifted relative to the direction to Earth. However, some of the secondary ejecta centers were close to the Sun-Earth line.

Measurements have shown that some of the solar matter and magnetic fields may be moving towards our planet.

Earlier it was reported that unusual radiation was noticed on the Sun.
