The Solar Astronomy Laboratory of IKI and ISTP RAS reported that "something unusual" was noticed on the Sun on Sunday evening. The message was published in the laboratory's Telegram channel.
According to scientists, after the last M-level flare, the radiation lasts for more than an hour - this is unusually long.
- Judging by everything, this is a plasma emission, but a very non-standard one (either exceptionally large, or one of the two). So far it is only clear that all this is happening near the edge of the Sun, that is, at a distance from the direction to Earth, and even that is not clear. Perhaps here 2 events in different places on the Sun are superimposed on each other, - they suggest in the laboratory.
