The 10th Judiciary Package was approved in the Parliament

The 10th Judiciary Package, which also includes regulations on execution, was accepted in the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly.

The 'Law on the Execution of Sentences and Security Measures and the Bill of Law on Amendments to Certain Laws', known as the 10th Judiciary Package, was passed by the Parliament.

In line with the accepted proposals of the same nature by the AKP and the New Path Party, articles 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 23, 24 and 25 were removed from the bill.

Following the acceptance of the proposal, Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Bekir Bozdağ congratulated the MPs on the upcoming Eid al-Adha and closed the session to meet on Wednesday, June 11 at 14:00.
