Minister Uraloğlu inspected the fire zone in Bursa from the air

After receiving an update from Governor Erol Ayyıldız and Regional Forestry Director Erdal Şahan on the ongoing work and the current situation in the region at the Fire Operations Center, Minister Uraloğlu conducted aerial inspections of the fire area from a helicopter.
Minister Uraloğlu, who went down to the İpekyolu Neighborhood of the Gürsu district, where the TOKİ residences are located, told an AA correspondent that the work was continuing with the central direction of Agriculture and Forestry Minister İbrahim Yumaklı.
"We find night work very valuable"Uraloğlu emphasized that intensive work was carried out until the morning under the coordination of the governor's office, saying, "We find the night work very valuable. Two villages were evacuated in that sense. We had the opportunity to see them from the air. There is no risk in those villages at the moment. A significant area around them was burned and treated. No one was allowed to enter the village."
Uraloğlu emphasized that the more active fire in the region was on the north side of the 2,200-unit TOKİ housing complex, and noted the following:
"There's an aircraft constantly responding there, but I've been on the ground. Everywhere you look, there are water trucks, fire extinguishers, and fire departments. Therefore, a serious intervention is underway. We're already feeling a strong wind. We're concerned about it. We're monitoring it closely. Hopefully, we'll get results and prevent it from spreading further." Uraloğlu also met with teams from the Regional Directorate of Forestry regarding ongoing work in the field and received an update on the situation. Uraloğlu was accompanied by Governor Erol Ayyıldız and AK Party Provincial Chairman Davut Gürkan.
