Crane out of control in Başakşehir hit 23 vehicles

In a traffic accident that occurred yesterday in Başakşehir, Istanbul, a crane whose driver lost control crashed into 23 parked vehicles while moving on Güvercintepe Seyrek Street. While the vehicles suffered extensive material damage in the accident, no one was injured.

The identity of the crane driver has not yet been learned, but police and fire crews were dispatched to the area following the accident. Police teams took security measures and worked in the area for a while. The damaged vehicles were removed from the road with the help of a tow truck and traffic returned to normal.

The fact that the vehicles were parked on the street where the accident occurred and the crane driver lost control prevented a possible bigger disaster. However, the fact that 23 vehicles were damaged revealed the magnitude of the accident.
