Roadworks warning on 10 different highway routes

Due to ongoing maintenance, repair, and construction work on many highways across the country, transportation is being controlled via different routes. The General Directorate of Highways' road status bulletin dated October 8, 2025, announced various restrictions and guidance in many cities from Aydın to Sivas.
Controlled traffic practices have begun
The safety and right-hand lanes of the Aydın-Denizli Highway, between kilometers 9 and 11, have been closed to traffic due to slope construction in the Denizli direction, effective October 2, 2025. Traffic is being controlled from the middle and left lanes. Drivers are reminded to pay attention to traffic signs and signals.
The Ankara Ring Highway, between kilometers 7 and 10, will be closed to traffic in the Eskişehir direction between the Bağlıca-Eskişehir junctions due to superstructure repairs to be carried out between September 27 and October 14, 2025. During the work, traffic in the other direction will be maintained in both directions and under controlled conditions.
Due to construction work on the High-Speed Train Highway Underpass in the Göl Neighborhood area, between kilometers 119 and 121 of the Sapanca Intersection and Adapazarı Intersection of the TEM Highway, this section of the highway has been completely closed to traffic. Traffic is being provided in and out of the other platform. Work began at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, and is being carried out 24/7.
Due to construction work carried out within the scope of improving the approach embankments of the DDY1 Bridge between kilometers 29-32 of the Ankara-Kırıkkale highway, the Ankara-Kırıkkale direction was closed to traffic between September 30 and November 31, 2025. Transportation is provided in both directions from Kırıkkale to Ankara.
Roadworks continue in various provinces
Due to the superstructure renovation works carried out between the 16th and 20th kilometers of the İzmir-Turgutlu highway since October 2, 2025, transportation is provided in two directions on a section of the divided highway.
The Havran direction of the Balıkesir-Havran highway has been closed to traffic due to landslide rehabilitation work between kilometers 33 and 35. Access is being provided in two-way and under controlled conditions in the other direction.
Due to maintenance work initiated in the Demirciköy Tunnel between the 10th and 13th kilometers of the Sinop-Samsun road as of October 8, 2025, the Sinop side of the tunnel has been closed to traffic and transportation is provided via the service road.
Transportation continues in a controlled manner between the 40th and 41st kilometers of the Silifke-Mersin road due to the works carried out within the scope of the Çeşmeli-Erdemli-Silifke-Taşucu Highway Project since September 23, 2025.
Due to road construction between kilometers 32 and 34 of the Sivas-Kangal highway, the Malatya-Sivas route has been closed to traffic. Two-way traffic is available from the other direction.
During the superstructure renewal works that started between the 31st and 49th kilometers of the Piraziz-Bulancak junction-Kovanlık-Aydındere road at 08:00 on October 8, 2025, traffic will be closed to traffic for a short time and will proceed in a controlled manner on a single lane.

The buying price of a full gold coin was set at 36,495.00 lira and the selling price was 36,839.00 lira. The buying price of a half gold coin reached 17,187.61 lira and the selling price rose to 17,620.45 lira.
The buying price of Zynet gold was 34,482.99 liras and the selling price was 35,133.12 liras, while the buying price of Ata gold reached 36,804.62 liras and the selling price was 37,729.10 liras. The buying price of Gremse gold was 90,901.00 liras and the selling price was 91,887.00 liras. The buying price of a gram of 14-carat bracelet was determined as 3,084.21 liras and the selling price was 4,173.46 liras. The buying price of a gram of 22-carat bracelet was traded at 5,107.34 liras and 5,348.91 liras.
OUNCE OF GOLD EXCEEDS $4,000 FOR THE FIRST TIME IN ITS HISTORY

The price of gold surpassing $4,000 per ounce for the first time in history generated excitement in the market. Global risk sentiment and the Fed's interest rate policy accelerated the price of gold.
