Thunberg spoke about Israel... 'They said they would gas us'

Nine activists, including Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg, who were detained in the Global Sumud Flotilla, which was attacked by the Israeli army while trying to deliver humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, arrived in Sweden.
Thunberg held a press conference with nine Swedish activists in Sergels Torg Square in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden.
Speaking here, Thunberg said, "We told people from the Swedish Consulate that we had no access to clean drinking water during our stay (in prison in Israel). Because the water was dirty and we got sick."
Thunberg, who stated that they asked for help from their own consulate officials because the tap water was dirty, said, "Because they (Israelis) threw bottles of drinking water into the trash in front of us and laughed at us for asking for clean water. We told them, 'We will not leave here until we have access to clean drinking water.'"
“The Swedish authorities have abandoned us”Thunberg stated that they reported their complaints to the Swedish consulate officials, saying, "As they were going to the consulate officials who met with us, I told them, 'They will beat us because there is no one watching us after you leave.' The Swedish officials went anyway."
“They said they would kill us with gas”Thunberg, who noted that they were also subjected to physical torture, said, "People were fainting, and when we asked for a doctor and life-saving medicine, they put 60 of us in small cages and said they would kill us with gas."
Thunberg, who also criticized the Swedish government, said, "To be honest, I really don't know what to say. Because no matter what we say, there is nothing that will make our governments take action against Israel."
