Zeynep Sönmez bids farewell to Wimbledon in the 3rd round

Zeynep Sönmez faced world number 17 Russian tennis player Ekaterina Aleksandrova in the third round of the women's singles at Wimbledon, the third Grand Slam tournament of the season. The national tennis player lost 2-0 to her opponent with sets of 6-3 and 7-6 and said goodbye to the tournament.
On the other hand, 23-year-old Zeynep Sönmez made history by becoming the first Turkish tennis player to reach the third round of a Grand Slam tournament in 75 years.
