The tourism minister is trapped without air conditioning on a Madrid-Seville train.

Andalusian Tourism Minister Arturo Bernal found himself caught up in the chaos on the railways this Tuesday. "Today it was my turn," Bernal stated with resignation in a video posted on social media, in which he explained that he and his team were on a train from Madrid to Seville that was half an hour late. Sources from the Ministry of Tourism told ABC that they had also been without air conditioning. "I'm not optimistic," the minister concluded.
Bernal was returning from his busy schedule in Madrid . There, on Tuesday morning, the minister met with President Juanma Moreno and the Japanese ambassador to Spain. Bernal attended as part of the Tourism Department's strategy to expand the number of tourists arriving in Andalusia each year.
From the train, Arturo Bernal said he thought of the Andalusians who are stuck in "endless traffic jams" on Andalusian roads on their way to vacation or work. "Roads in poor condition due to lack of investment and maintenance ," the minister noted in the video, where he criticized the government for the state of the transportation system.
"This is not sabotage or collusion, Mr. Puente. It's a lack of diligence in the management and maintenance of these infrastructures, which are critical to our economy, such as tourism," added Arturo Bernal, who didn't just point the finger at Transport Minister Óscar Puente.
The minister also mentioned the Minister of Finance, María Jesús Montero, who is also the leader of the Socialists in Andalusia. "Meanwhile, Ms. Montero is on the run, signing agreements with the Catalan separatists , so they'll do them a favor and keep Pedro Sánchez in the Moncloa," Bernal concluded, unsure if he'll make it to lunch with his family or if he'll do it on the train.
