Truck catches fire after rollover on Circuito Interior

Early Thursday morning brought chaos to Circuito Interior , causing complications for travelers heading to Mexico City's Benito Juárez International Airport (AICM). This happened when a van overturned near the Congress of the Union , bursting into flames, and fortunately, the driver suffered minor injuries.
According to witnesses, the truck hit a bump on the left side of the avenue , causing the vehicle to lose control and end up overturning a few meters ahead.
Due to the severe impact on the front end, oil and fuel spilled, causing a fire to start, completely consuming the cab and part of the cargo bed . Fortunately, the driver was able to get out before the fire spread, suffering only a hand injury and therefore did not require hospitalization.

Emergency services, including members of the Citizen Security Secretariat (SSC) and the Heroic Fire Department , responded to the scene to control the fire.

However, this accident affected the center lanes for those heading toward AICM , at least until 6:30 a.m., when the burned-out truck was able to be moved to the side lanes awaiting the arrival of a tow truck to remove it.
