The President of the Republic of Poland visited Krąpiel near Stargard. He signed a draft law for farmers.

On Saturday, August 9th, three days after being sworn in as head of state, Karol Nawrocki met with West Pomeranian farmers and residents of the region. In Krąpiela near Stargard, he signed a draft legislative initiative for farmers, which, he assured today, aims to protect the Polish countryside, ensure its food security, protect it from unfair competition, and extend the moratorium on the sale of Polish land. He plans to submit the draft to the Sejm.
The government motorcade arrived before noon at the farm of Edward Kosmal in Krąpiel, a farmer from Tychów and activist of the Independent Farmers' Solidarity trade union. Everyone who entered was searched by police and security. Most of them were his supporters.
President Nawrocki thanked voters and residents of Polish villages for voting for him in the election. The meeting was attended not only by farmers but also by residents from across the region.
- I am also here to say that not only the countryside is behind Karol, but Karol is also behind farmers and the Polish countryside, and this will not change in the next 5 years - said Karol Nawrocki, President of the Republic of Poland.
Karol Nawrocki signed a bill on Saturday that, he argued, aims to ensure Poland's food security. And farmers are responsible for this. He spoke about agricultural problems and criticized the government for its sluggishness.
"On the one hand, Polish farmers face unfair competition from Ukraine," he said. "On the other hand, looming large over them are the Green Deal and the European Union's agreements with South American countries and Mercosur. There are problems with bureaucracy, financing, and money for farmers, and Polish state institutions are slow to act in the face of floods and downpours. Finally, something that is so closely linked to the entire Western Pomerania region: the purchase of Polish land by foreign holdings. Today, we are in the land where the main impulse for farmers came from; we will not give up Polish land. And for that impulse from 2015, I thank you!"
The President of the Republic of Poland spoke for several minutes about farmers' issues. He assured them that he would fight for them. He announced action regarding the Mercosur agreement. The crowd chanted "thank you, thank you."
"This is a historic event," commented Edward Kosmal, who hosted the head of state. "We expect the president to implement the farmers' program, not just the Solidarity program. We are pleased that one of his demands was met today."
- I voted for Karol Nawrocki, every meeting with him makes a great impression on me - says Sebastian Wałaszczyk from the Szczecinek district.
Karol Nawrocki entered the crowd, greeted his supporters, and took selfies with them.
The President of the Republic of Poland announced that he will continue meetings with his voters.

He can issue a decree to his own intestine while sitting on the toilet 😂

I don't respect him

He extorts apartments from helpless people, is involved in pimping, hooligan schemes, and contacts with the criminal underworld. A president like this is a disgrace to Poland.

No one invited him here. He's not the president of Pomerania.

The new president should issue a presidential decree and immediately expel all unemployed Ukrainians from Poland. When will he take away Ukrainians' social security benefits, free health insurance, and Polish PESEL numbers? When will the new president provide health insurance for all Poles?

You're smiling all the time, you screwed up the elections, the referendum on 15/10/23, now all that's left is your howling, which sounds great. Cry?

A propaganda stunt. The project is a piece of paper and has no legal force. Mercosur operates and is legally implemented. Similarly, technical-quality products from Ukraine are legally sold in Poland in foreign discount stores. You can always chat and show off your photos.

He can sign whatever he wants. He has no authority over the Polish Parliament. This isn't the Grand Hotel.

There are rumors that he signed a bill that the Law and Justice party (PiS) would repeal in 2022. President Nawrocki was misled; under the PiS government, the sale of agricultural and forest land to foreigners increased dramatically, wrote Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, Deputy Prime Minister and chairman of the Polish People's Party (PSL), on Saturday. He added that the current government upholds the principle that Polish land should end up in Polish hands.

Your PO-style squeals won't help. You don't give a damn about farmers, and anyone who shakes their hand is your enemy. It's a disgrace, especially since most of you have rural roots, and now you've suddenly become urban.

He's a hero to me, too. He ended up in a PiS village. He was afraid to come to Szczecin.

Has the guy gone crazy, or are these PiS supporters advising him to do this? He has no idea what's written there. He should read it first, then spout nonsense. He probably hasn't read that Mercosur law either.
