A fire that broke out in a grassy area in Avcılar was extinguished.

The fire broke out around 11:30 a.m. today in a grassy area in the Yeşilkent neighborhood. Witnesses reported the blaze, which broke out in a grassy area adjacent to the TEM Highway for an as yet unknown reason, to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Firefighters and police were dispatched to the scene after taking security measures. Police closed traffic in the Ankara direction. Firefighters worked diligently to prevent the flames from spreading to surrounding villas and residential complexes, quickly extinguishing the blaze.
