"This is a topic that will be discussed with international allies," he noted.

However, according to him, this issue will be raised only after the end of the Ukrainian conflict. At the same time, Jarvis said, the country's Prime Minister Keir Starmer will also discuss this proposal at the upcoming meeting with US President Donald Trump.

The day before, on February 24, Britain imposed new sanctions against Russia, explaining this by ensuring national security. The list of people banned from entering the country includes representatives of the "Russian elite", which includes heads of Russian companies, media outlets and officials. The list of names has not yet been published.
