TCG Anadolu on the Bosphorus: TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland Parade Begins

Türkiye's largest military ship, the TCG Anadolu, is leading a parade on the Bosphorus as part of the TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland events. The ceremony, hosted by the Ministry of National Defense, began at 2:45 p.m. with the TCG Anadolu entering the Bosphorus from the Black Sea.

The parade, which begins from the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, features major Turkish Navy units navigating the Bosphorus. Participating vessels include the TCG Savarona (Atatürk's yacht), the TCG Oruçreis, the TCG İstanbul, the TCG Heybeliada, the TCG Kalkan, the TCG Alanya, the TCG Sancaktar, and the submarine TCG Hızırreis.

As part of the event, 350 students, determined by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the T3 Foundation, will take part in TCG Anadolu and witness historical moments.

The TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland parade both showcases the power of the navy and aims to increase young people's interest in the national technology initiative.
